4 months old

Colin is four months old. We went to see Dr. Banfield for a checkup. Colin is growing very well. He is 13 pounds 8 ounces. He is 24.5 inches long. Colin is very attached to his mommy and often will not allow her to put him down without screaming. He spends much of his time in a carrier or sling on Mommy's chest. We expressed concern that this may be causing him delayed development, but Dr. Banfield said it is not. In fact Colin is meeting all milestones and even surpassing some. He is holding his head up very well.

Colin got his second round of immunizations today. He did not like them at all. He had a strong reaction to his last shots (cried for three hours) so Dr. Banfield has decided to seperate his shots this time. We will return in two weeks to get his DTAP. If he has a reaction to this shot then he won't be able to get it again.

Colin is sleeping well at night. He usually only gets up once to nurse. He still gets up a few other times for a pacifyer, but Daddy can help with this. Colin has been fussy since he was born. This has slowly gotten better. He likes to giggle at funny faces. He's gives mommy and daddy a big smile when he sees them first thing in the morning. Colin is very handsome. He has HUGE eyes. Isaac really likes Colin's eyes and wants to touch them. He points to them and says "eyes".

It's Our Anniversary!

It's been 1 year since we tied the knot. What a great year it's been; Sarah graduated with her masters and gota good job at Meralac. We bought a cute house in an area we love and we adopted a dog, Lucy! Our family is growing.

I have been truly blessed to find Sarah. She brings out the best in me. I couldn't ask for a better partner in life.

Thank you Sarah for all the love.

Sarah and I adopted a 1 year old Yellow Lab.

We dicided to call her Lucy Jane.

She's been a great pup and is already well trained.
